Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced RN/LPN Manager to lead our nursing team with energy, expertise, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. In this vital role, you will oversee daily nursing operations across diverse healthcare settings, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, fostering team collaboration, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Your leadership will directly impact patient outcomes by coordinating clinical services, managing staff performance, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence healthcare delivery while supporting the growth and development of your team members. Responsibilities Lead and supervise nursing staff, including RNs and LPNs, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to best practices in patient care. Oversee patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, and medical documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards. Coordinate clinical activities such as medication administration, IV infusion, catheter care, tube feeding, and wound management while maintaining aseptic techniques. Manage staffing schedules, conduct performance evaluations, and provide mentorship to foster professional growth within the team. Ensure all nursing procedures align with hospital protocols, including emergency response procedures like airway management and ventilator support. Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Point Click Care and Epic. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on discharge planning, case management, utilization review, and quality improvement initiatives to optimize patient outcomes. Qualifications Valid RN or LPN license with current state certification; additional certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS), IV insertion, or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) are highly preferred. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding, and medical documentation standards. Proven leadership skills with supervising experience in fast-paced healthcare environments; familiarity with nurse management practices is essential. Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems like Point Click Care. Excellent patient assessment skills along with expertise in infection control protocols, specimen collection/processing, and sterile techniques. Ability to work effectively with diverse populations including individuals with developmental disabilities, seniors requiring dementia or memory care, pediatric patients including neonatal ventilator care or toddler care.
