Belgrove Rehab and Nursing Center in Kearny, NJ is seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a Unit Manager on our Subacute Floor. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily nursing operations on the Subacute Unit Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff (LPNs and CNAs) Administer disciplinary action when necessary in accordance with facility policies Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations; participate in surveys and inspections Monitor medication administration, care plans, and treatment schedules Lead investigations into incidents and grievances with proper documentation and follow-up Collaborate with physicians, MDS team, and social services for optimal patient outcomes and discharge planning Oversee admissions and re-admissions to reduce hospitalization risks Requirements Active RN license in New Jersey (required) Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting At least 2 years of experience in subacute, rehabilitative, or restorative nursing Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Benefits Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) Comprehensive Medical & Dental Coverage Employee Recognition Programs Company Perks & Discounts Supportive, team-oriented work environment Lead with purpose.
