Job Description
Experienced Dementia Unit Manager (RN) - Locked Memory Care Unit ? Morris View Healthcare Center, Morristown, NJ We are seeking an experienced RN/LPN to lead our secure Memory Care/Dementia Unit. This role is ideal for a compassionate, clinically strong nurse leader with extensive experience managing residents with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia.
Required Qualifications:
- Current RN/LPN license in New Jersey
- Dementia Care Certification (CDP or equivalent) required
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Unit Manager/Nurse Manager in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience caring for residents with dementia and behavioral health needs in a secured memory care environment
- Strong knowledge of dementia-specific interventions, behavior management, fall prevention, psychotropic medication monitoring, and regulatory compliance
- Proven leadership experience supervising nursing staff, conducting clinical rounds, managing admissions, care plans, quality measures, and family communication Join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents living with dementia.
