Job Description

Overview We're a skilled nursing facility looking for an RN Nurse Manager to lead our unit and the staff on it. You'll own day-to-day operations, resident care quality, and staff performance - with real authority to make decisions and the Director of Nursing backing you up.
Schedule:
Days, every other weekend. What you'll do Lead unit operations and coordinate resident care across all shifts Supervise, coach, and evaluate nursing staff; handle progressive discipline with DON support Keep the unit survey-ready under federal, state, and facility regulations Run and participate in care planning, physician rounds, and interdisciplinary conferences Oversee PRI, MDS, and Medicare documentation; attend Medicare meetings and audit charts Provide hands-on resident care, including medications and treatments, as needed Serve as Facility Supervisor when called on, including emergencies What you need Current NY RN license 2+ years of nursing leadership in long-term care or acute care Current CPR certification PRI assessor certification, or willingness to obtain it (we'll support the training) Nursing degree preferred; strong experience considered in place of a degree Benefits 4 weeks paid vacation 8 paid holidays 4 personal days Paid sick time Extra shifts beyond your regular schedule paid at an hourly rate on top of salary
Pay:
$110,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
