Hours Vary Job Summary The Nurse Manager performs the primary functions of a professional nurse leader in assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care. Specifically, you will participate in performance improvement and research activities, maintain fiscal responsibilities of supplies and equipment on the unit as well as be responsible for the coordination and facility of quality nursing care through the24 hour management of the designated patient care area. Salary range 140-175 based on experience

Job Duties Include:

Consistently demonstrate leadership and management approach to daily clinical and administrative practice. Ensure quality patient/family centered care are provided timely Patient/customer satisfaction issues are resolved timely Collaboration with other departments to ensure quality patient care Development and implementation of policies and procedures according to evidence-based practice in accordance with regulatory standards and guidelines.

Qualifications:

Master's degree preferred. Bachelor's degree required Valid NYS Nursing License Minimum of 5 years clinical experience along with progressive management experience BLS/ACLS/Infection Control Certifications CCRN Certification Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital is an equal employment opportunity employer.
