The Grand Pavilion for Rehabilitation and Nursing at Rockville Center is a newly renovated five star facility with 158 beds that is proud of their state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Gym. Our mission is to promote and maintain each individual's highest level of independence and health in an atmosphere of dignity and respect. Our staff adheres to the highest medical practice standards. The primary purpose of your position is to communicate with Department Heads to plan and organize. The Central Supply will distribute supplies as needed in facility in accordance with current federal/state and local standards, guidelines and regulation Duties Include Develop and maintain procurement, stocking and delivering objectives and standards. Delivering of supplies to all departments with a focus on ensuring that Nurising units are always appropriatly stocked. Maintain an open line communication with nursing staff to ensure that nursing units are stocked with the approropiriate supplies such as gloves, side rail paddings, safety alarms, commodes, tube feeding supplies, daily care items, diapers, stock medications and wound care supplies. Organize Storage areas and monitor the use of suppliles in accordance with established guidlines. Monitor par levels to census and accurity to insure appropirate usage. Qualifications Strong interpersonal, communication and time management skills Able to read and write English Able to walk, sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull and move equipment, supplies, etc in excess of 50 pounds. Ability to work independently and have flexibility, personal integrity, and ability to work with residents other staff and outside agencies/vendors Proficiency in computer skills with MS Office Knowledge of strategic planning and resource allocation principles Must possess basic math and accounting skills.
