Our ideal candidate has solid proficiency as a registered nurse with a managerial background and a minimum of 2 years plastic surgery knowledge. The position requires 3-5 years O.R. Circulating experience, supervisory skills and a problem-solving attitude. Further knowledge of AAAASF is a plus. Ultimately, the applicant must have the ability to keep the facility running smoothly through day-to-day management and long term planning. Responsibilities Schedule employees/shifts for surgical cases using our part time and per diem staff database Oversee all O.R. staff to ensure policies and procedures are followed Train and evaluate new team members Ensure all AAAASF standards and requirements are strictly adhered to Produce reports on a monthly & quarterly basis, as required. Pre-op all cosmetic patients Establish a compassionate environment by providing support to patients Keep up to date records of patient cases, procedures Handle complaints or other issues involving the OR Qualifications Currently licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of employment- CNOR or CPSN Certification is a plus Excellent organizational, problem-solving savvy and communication skills required Proven work experience as an OR Circulating Nurse Team managerial expertise Computer skills including EMR, scanning, email are required
