AMP is a Management Services Organization (MSO) that provides clinical and administrative support to ColumbiaDoctors, one of the largest and most respected multi-specialty practices in the Northeast. Position Summary We are seeking an experienced, dynamic Clinical Nurse Manager to support our Director of Clinical Services. The Clinical Nurse Manager will lead clinical operations in a fast-paced outpatient, multi-specialty environment. This role requires a strong clinical foundation combined with exceptional leadership, operational, and communication skills. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative setting and is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care while developing and supporting clinical teams. The Clinical Nurse Manager is responsible for overseeing daily clinical operations, supervising nursing and clinical support staff across multiple locations, and ensuring high standards of patient care, safety, and regulatory compliance. This leader will serve as a key liaison between providers, staff, and administration to ensure seamless workflow and exceptional patient experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct leadership, supervision, and mentorship to nursing and clinical support staff Manage staffing, scheduling, and workforce planning across multiple locations Oversee payroll processing and timecard approvals to ensure accuracy and compliance Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and implement performance improvement plans as needed Lead onboarding, training, and ongoing professional development of clinical staff Ensure compliance with clinical standards, policies, and regulatory requirements Monitor and optimize clinical workflows to maximize efficiency and patient satisfaction Support and drive quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice implementation Collaborate with physicians and specialty providers in a multi-specialty outpatient setting Maintain clinical competencies and ensure staff maintain required certifications Utilize
EPIC EMR
for documentation oversight, reporting, workflow optimization, and performance metrics tracking
Required Experience/Skills:
Minimum 5+ years of experience supervising and training clinical staff, including oversight of teams across multiple locations Strong background working with adult patients in a primary care and multi-specialty outpatient setting Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and conflict resolution skills Strong understanding of clinical operations, compliance, and quality standards
Preferred Experience/Skills:
Experience in Cardiology strongly preferred
Education/License/Certification:
Active RN License (required) Current BLS and ACLS certifications (required) Required proficiency with
EPIC EMR
Work Location:
On-site, Travel to other practice locations as needed.
Job Type :
Full-time Salary Range :
$120,000 - $135,000 The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered for this position at the time of this job ad and may be modified in the future. When determining a team member's base salary and/or hourly rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., job type, location, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, budgets, and internal equity).
