Job Description

Tupper Lake Center is looking for a professional, caring, and energetic RN Nurse Manager to join our team! Tupper Lake Center is a true home away from home, located in beautiful Tupper Lake, nestled in the heart of the Adirondack Park. Our facility provides 24-hour care along with many other services to ensure you or your loved one will receive the highest quality of care. Tupper Lake Center is an easily accessible 60 bed skilled nursing facility providing both long and short term care. Here at Tupper Lake Center we have a proud tradition of commitment to caring. Our mission is to promote and maintain each individual's highest level of independence and health in an atmosphere of dignity and respect. Our staff adheres to the highest medical practice standards and will develop a care plan to match the unique preferences and needs of each resident. Nurse Manager Twenty four hour responsibility on a nursing unit for the systematic management of resident care in accordance with standards of professional practice, established department policies and procedures, and regulatory agencies. Oversees all levels of nursing personnel to assure proper use and documentation of the nursing process in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of resident care. Insures continuity of resident care through ongoing communication with residents, families/significant others, charge nurses and staff on other shifts. Coordinates with other healthcare professionals to develop a comprehensive individualized resident care plan. May assume administrative duties in the abscence of the Director of Nursing, or supervisors. Salaray commensurate with experience and education. Educational Requirements/Qualifications Current RN registration in New York State BSN preferred 3 years of LTC experience preferred Demonstrates clinical management skills needed to coordinate resident needs and functioning of the unit Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Paid Benefit Time (PTO and Sick days) Tuition Reimbursement Retirement Plan and more!
