n/a Responsibilities - Accountable for 24-hour management of the rehab program. Responsible for organizational planning, and the clinical rehab nursing practice which includes assessing, planning, implementing and supervising patient care and professional growth. Supervises 40-50 employees on day, evening and night shifts. Collaborates with other professional disciplines in developing and implementing clinical rehabilitation programs. Qualifications - Progressive experience in clinical rehabilitation nursing and nursing management. Bachelor's degree in nursing required, Masters preferred. Certification in rehabilitation nursing (or obtained as soon as eligible) NYS license required. Strong clinical, leadership, and management skills; good interpersonal and interdisciplinary relationships; a high level of initiative and creative problem-solving ability. House Supervisor on weekends (once every eight weeks) and occasional holidays. The Burke Rehabilitation Hospital is an equal employment opportunity employer.
