Job Description
RN OHS Care Manager Under the direction of Director of Occupational Health, this position supports the OHS provider and interdisciplinary team in facilitating patient care, with the underlying objective of enhancing the quality of clinical outcomes while managing the cost of care. This position is accountable for direct and indirect patient care, case management for ACMC caregivers and all OHS clients. Specific functions within this role include: Coordinating and triaging facility/client offered programs such as COVID surveillance Coordinate and provide company vaccine programs (Influenza, Hepatitis B, etc.) Collaborate company screening programs for Audiology, Respiratory N95 screenings, Random Urine Drug screens etc. Case manage Workers Comp process, ACMC SERS reports, and Exposure process Act as resource to all providers who may interact with the injured employee to ensure appropriate knowledge of the work site and RTW status of the client company. Assess the educational needs of company representatives and propose programs to meet those needs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Registered Nurse, Bachelor s degree in nursing preferred. Ambulatory Clinic experience preferred Ability to communicate and to provide education on complex, technical or clinical information. Willingness to travel to companies in surrounding areas. Possess reliable transportation. Ability to work various hours including evenings and weekends. Ability to maintain confidentiality and to present a positive, professional image. Computer experience with spreadsheet and word processing knowledge required.Required Licensure or Certification:
Must be currently licensed to practice as an RN in the State of Ohio. BLS certification required, CAOHC certification, NIOSH spirometry certification, Breath Alcohol Testing certification, Urine Drug Screen certification recommended for all; required within the first 12 months.Similar jobs in Ashtabula, OH
