In-person Position Overview:
The Charge Nurse is responsible for the day-to-day leadership of nursing services within our newly constructed residential treatment facility. The Charge Nurse role offers a leadership opportunity to help shape a therapeutic environment that supports youth and their families during critical times. This role supports, supervises, and develops nursing staff while working closely with the Medical Director and multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Leadership:
Supervise nursing staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance oversight Support a well-trained, professional, and collaborative nursing team
Clinical Oversight:
Ensure safe and effective medication management Oversee infection control practices Maintain compliance with medical and regulatory standards Direct Care (as needed): Provide floor coverage and clinical support Administer medications and complete health screenings for new clients eliver medical care and serve as a clinical resource for staff
Additional Duties:
Provide medical support for Day Treatment clients Respond to emergency medical needs involving clients, staff, or visitors
Qualifications:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license (required) Supervisory experience (preferred) Behavioral health experience (preferred) Experience working with youth up to age 17 (preferred) Knowledge of healthcare regulatory compliance Interested in applying?
