Skilled Nursing Unit Manager (RN)/(LPN)

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to serve as a Skilled Nursing Unit Manager. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily clinical operations of the unit, ensuring high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and effective staff supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and support nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs Coordinate and manage daily operations of the skilled nursing unit Ensure delivery of quality resident care in accordance with federal, state, and facility standards Monitor and maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements (CMS, state guidelines) Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, therapy, and social services Conduct staff scheduling, performance evaluations, and ongoing training Oversee care plans, documentation, and clinical outcomes Address resident and family concerns in a professional and timely manner
Qualifications:
Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state Current and active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting Prior supervisory or management experience preferred Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Knowledge of regulatory standards and survey processes
