Job Description

CareCore at Heritage is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager to join our leadership team! If you're passionate about resident care, enjoy mentoring staff, and thrive in a fast-paced long-term care environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Weekend on-call rotation required
What You'll Do:
Oversee the daily clinical operations of your assigned nursing unit Oversee scheduling for Nurse and STNA staff Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff to ensure exceptional resident care Coordinate admissions, discharges, and care planning Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve positive resident outcomes Monitor documentation, quality measures, and clinical performance Assist with surveys, audits, and performance improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
Active Ohio RN license required Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred PointClickCare (PCC) experience required Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to lead a team while maintaining a resident-centered approach Why CareCore at Heritage?
