The Milieu Supervisor manages all aspects of recovery care specialist duties. The Milieu Supervisor is responsible for all associated trainings (leading/scheduling) for recovery care specialist positions.
Relationships and Contacts:
Within the organization: Maintains frequent and close working relationships with clients, President/CEO, National Director of Admissions, Nursing, facility leadership, peers and vendors.
Outside the organization:
May initiate and maintain working relationships with clinical providers, referral partners and vendors as needed and directed. Essential Responsibilities Schedule and supervise RCS staff to ensure consistent coverage across all shifts Lead onboarding, training, and ongoing supervision of RCS staff; coordinate training plans with HR Develop and implement necessary trainings; address re-training and disciplinary issues collaboratively with leadership Participate in interviewing and hiring new RCS staff with HR Lead/co-lead RCS meetings Communicate staff updates from team and program meetings Ensure RCS staff review and contribute to the Communication Log each shift Attend required weekly and monthly staff and client meetings Support clients during meals, groups, and high-intensity situations as needed Fill in for RCS shifts when coverage is needed; act as a floor staff member when necessary Ensure accurate and timely RCS documentation in client charts and cleaning logs Maintain proper use of EMR and adhere to HIPAA, privacy, and infection control protocols Follow transportation policy, vehicle log procedures, and on-call schedules Maintain active CPR/First Aid certification Ensure RCS staff are up to date with required trainings
Qualifications What We Are Seeking:
Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred 2 or more years of management experience preferred Active First aid, CPR certification Valid Driver's License Other Requirements Position requires incumbent to have a valid driver's license and vehicle insurance.
