Job Description

RN Unit Manager The RN Unit Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day clinical operations of an assigned nursing unit, ensuring high-quality care, regulatory compliance, and strong communication among staff, residents, and families. The RN Unit Manager works closely with the Director of Nursing and leadership team to maintain the highest standards of care delivery and staff development. Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise nursing staff on the unit to ensure quality resident care and adherence to care plans. Conduct regular rounds to monitor resident conditions, staff performance, and overall unit operations. Support staff development through coaching, mentoring, and training. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to promote positive outcomes. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and facility policies and procedures. Act as a resource and role model for professionalism, teamwork, and clinical excellence.
Compensation and Schedule Status:
Full Time Skills and Qualifications:
Current and valid RN license in the state of Ohio (compact license acceptable). Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in long-term care. Prior supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred as a RN Unit Manager Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
