Position Summary The LPN Unit Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day clinical operations of the nursing unit while ensuring residents receive the highest quality of care. This individual will work closely with caregivers, medication aides, providers, residents, and families to promote a safe, compassionate, and resident-centered environment. Responsibilities Provide daily clinical oversight of the nursing unit. Supervise and support caregivers and medication aides. Perform resident assessments and monitor changes in condition. Coordinate resident care with physicians, pharmacies, therapy providers, hospice, and other healthcare professionals. Communicate regularly with residents and families regarding care needs. Assist with admissions, move-ins, service plans, and resident care conferences. Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation. Promote compliance with Ohio Assisted Living regulations and community policies. Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on quality care and excellent customer service. Participate in the community's on-call rotation. Qualifications Current Ohio LPN license in good standing. Previous experience in Assisted Living, Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing, or Senior Living preferred. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities. Passion for serving older adults with dignity, compassion, and respect.
