- , with responsibility for supporting locations in Livingston, Chelsea, Livonia, and Oakland. Periodic travel to these sites is required.
Position Summary:
- The Divisional Nurse Manager serves in a dual leadership capacity, providing clinical nursing leadership across assigned regions and specialties and direct operational oversight within designated clinical areas.
- What the Divisional Nurse Manager will need:
- Education
- Bachelor's degree and graduation from an accredited Registered Nursing program.
Licensure:
- Valid, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Michigan and current CPR certification.
Experience:
- Preferred five years of clinical experience in a combination of both medical inpatient or outpatient settings.
- Direct supervisory/training/education or relevant experience is preferred.
Preferred:
College coursework or formal training in management or leadership.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLSAND ABILITIES
- + Knowledge of professional nursing practice, ambulatory care, clinical procedures, medical terminology, coding, compliance, privacy and safety. + Proficiency with Epic, electronic medical records, Microsoft 365 and other job-related technology. + Excellent written, verbal, presentation, leadership, coaching, organizational, judgment and problem-solving skills.
- What the Divisional Nurse Manager will do:
- + Partners with division leadership, practice operations, medical, quality and joint operating agreement leadership to develop, document, implement and sustain standardized clinical workflows and protocols across assigned regions and specialties.
