- Chester Nursing Home (CNH) Pay Rate Type Hourly Pay Grade Health-25 Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Work Shift Job Description Under general supervision, provides professional nursing care to patients of all ages through the use of the nursing process and through promotion, maintenance and teaching. Responsible for compliance with overall nursing practice standards of the specialty area (Reports to Department Director) Notifies the Director of any problems in the unit. Takes charge of unit as needed (with appropriate competency).Is responsible for getting to work for scheduled shifts in the event of inclement weather. Uses established principles of delegation and supervision to direct the activities of all licensed and non-licensed care givers and support staff in the delivery of patient care during their assigned shift. Uses independent judgment to ensure optimal delivery of patient care and appropriate use of available resources
Additional Job Description Education :
Graduate from a recognized Licensed Practical Nursing program.
Licensure/Certificatio n:
Graduated from a recognized Licensed Practical Nursing program and licensed as an LPN with the state of South Carolina or a compact state.
