RN Weekend Supervisor

•$10,000 Sign-On Bonus Available•Donalson Care Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Nursing Home facility in full-time position. The basic purpose of this position is to serve as the administrative resource person within the Care Center and collaborate with the Director of Nursing and the Administrator to guide staff in the process of problem resolution.

Essential Functions:

Utilize effective problem solving techniques. Maintain current clinical knowledge relative to age and technology of patients and keep current with policies and procedures. Meet with Care Center Administration as requested to discuss plans, progress, issues, and needs of clinical unit. Identifies high risk patients/areas of concern and communicates to DON. Facilitates two-way communication between nursing administration and nursing staff. Collaborates with DON to ensure availability of appropriate staff. Monitors acuity on patient units, oversees admissions, adjust staffing as necessary. Works as staff as needed in order to meet staffing acuity and provide quality/safe patient care. Provide information and professional support to staff. Registered Nurse (RN)

Weekend Supervisor Position Details:

Full-time 6:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. Saturday - Monday Registered Nurse (RN)

Weekend Supervisor Qualifications and Skills:

State of Tennessee licensure (or eligible) as a Registered Nurse BSN or equivalent preferred, but not required Minimum of 4 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital environment in which leadership, interpersonal skills, and clinical expertise have been demonstrated CPR certification required
