Charge Nurse Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Charge Nurse to join our team at Avir at Brownwood, a leading healthcare provider in Brownwood, TX. As a Charge Nurse, you will play a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our nursing units, ensuring high-quality patient care and exceptional staff support. Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of our nursing units, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and procedures Collaborate with the Nurse Manager and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, including mentoring and coaching as needed Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to nurses Develop and maintain effective communication with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and hospital processes Maintain accurate records and reports, including shift reports, patient charts, and statistical reports
Requirements:
Current Texas RN license Night Shift 6PM-6AM Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with discretion
