Weekend Supervisor RN Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Weekend Supervisor RN to join our team at Avir at Crockett, a premier healthcare organization in Crockett, TX. As a Weekend Supervisor RN , you will be responsible for assisting the Director of Nursing in planning, developing, and implementing the day-to-day functions of our Nursing Department. Your expertise and leadership will ensure high-quality clinical care for our residents, while maintaining a positive and supportive work environment.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Supervise weekend professional and non-professional staff, scheduling job assignments and developing Nursing Unit priorities Plan and deliver care to patients requiring long-term or rehabilitative care, in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations Manage facility unit through experienced leadership and communication with the Director of Nursing Prepare and review medical records and nurse's notes, assessing residents' physical and emotional status Coordinate and assist with new admissions, transfers, and discharge of residents Transcribe physician's telephone orders, communicate with residents' family members, and manage patient care

Qualifications:

Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing and currently licensed by the State Must be CPR Certified Completion of secondary education or otherwise able to read and write in legible and understandable manner Proven results at a nursing leader Supervisory experience or Charge Nurse experience preferred How to
