- Job Summary and Qualifications
- The Nurse Manager is responsible for the supervision, coordination and evaluation of nursing care provided on the assigned unit(s).
- What qualifications you will need:
- + Basic Cardiac Life Support + (CMSRN) Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date + (RN) Registered Nurse licensed in the state of Texas or Compact license + Bachelors Degree in nursing required + 5+ years of clinical experience required + 2+ years management experience required + Strong time management abilities + Strong communication- willing to have the difficult conversations + Ability to cultivate a strong team and get buy in from staff on the HCA way and ability to explain the why behind decisions + Must have a strong presence within the unit + Must be flexible with changes and have the ability to pivot when needed + Looking for someone who is driven, coachable, and has a team oriented approach HCA Healthcare has been named one of the World's Most Ethical Companies by Ethisphere Institute for ten consecutive years (2010-2019).
