Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Charge Nurse - RN Supervisor to lead our nursing team with enthusiasm and expertise. In this vital role, you will oversee daily clinical operations, ensure exceptional patient care, and foster a collaborative team environment. Your leadership will drive compliance with healthcare standards and promote a culture of safety, efficiency, and compassion. Duties Supervise nursing staff across shifts, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations to ensure optimal team functioning. Coordinate patient assessments, medical documentation, and care plans in accordance with facility protocols and regulatory standards. Oversee medication administration, IV infusion procedures, catheter care, and other clinical interventions with precision and adherence to safety protocols. Manage patient flow including intake, discharge planning, and coordination with interdisciplinary teams such as case management and therapy services. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, infection control policies, and documentation standards using EMR systems like Point Click Care . Conduct regular audits of medical records, medical imaging reports, and diagnostic evaluations to maintain accuracy and completeness. Lead quality improvement initiatives aligned with NCQA standards and other accreditation requirements to enhance patient outcomes. Skills Extensive experience with Point Click Care EMR system. Strong background in Long Term Care setting. Proven supervisory experience managing nursing teams in diverse settings such as long-term care, assisted living, and memory care. Proficiency in advanced clinical skills including tracheotomy management and infection control practices. Knowledge of

ICD-9/10

coding systems for accurate documentation and utilization review processes. Familiarity with medical terminology related to gastrostomy feeding tubes, phlebotomy, laboratory testing procedures, and diagnostic imaging. Exceptional leadership abilities with a focus on team management, patient care excellence, and compliance with healthcare regulations including HIPAA laws.
