They ensure high-quality, patient-centered care, regulatory compliance, and effective coordination with hospital departments. Responsibilities include managing staffing, scheduling, performance evaluations, driving quality improvement initiatives, and collaborating with clinical staff and leadership. Required qualifications comprise a Texas RN license, BLS certification, ACLS and PALS within 3 months, TNCC within 12 months, and at least 3 years of emergency or critical care experience plus 1 year in a leadership role.
