You will play a vital role in coordinating patient assessments, supervising clinical procedures, and maintaining compliance with healthcare standards. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate nursing staff during weekend shifts, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards Oversee patient assessments, vital signs, and medical documentation to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning Manage medication administration, IV infusion procedures, catheter care, and other complex clinical tasks with precision and attention to detail Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, infection control protocols, and EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner for accurate record-keeping Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, therapists, and case managers to facilitate discharge planning and patient care continuity Provide mentorship and supervision to nursing staff, fostering a positive team environment focused on excellent patient care Respond promptly to emergency situations such as airway management or acute pain episodes, utilizing ICU or Level I Trauma Center experience when needed Skills Extensive critical care experience including ICU, emergency medicine, or Level I Trauma Center settings Proficiency with EMR systems like Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth; strong medical documentation skills Knowledge of
