7 McKinney, TX Job Details Full-time $85,000 a year 1 day ago Qualifications Staff supervision RN License Full Job Description The RN Supervisor-Clinic functions under works under general supervision of LifePath Systems Director of Nursing with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. This position works closely with other Behavioral Health Leadership to ensure successful incorporation of clinical and medical needs of individuals and families served are met. The RN Supervisor
  • Clinic will coordinate services between all of the clinic Psychiatrists, Advance Practice Nurses, RNs, LVNs and other nursing personnel for perspective clinic location to ensure ease of access and clinic flow. The RN Supervisor
  • Clinic will be responsible for the supervision and oversight of the clinic nursing staff to ensure provision of trauma informed, person oriented, and culturally and linguistically appropriate services to the diverse patient population of Collin County served by LifePath Systems. The RN Supervisor
  • Clinic also provides oversight and supervision of procedures at medication distribution center (MDC) and the medication patient assistance program (PAP).
Serves as investigating officer for death review committee as assigned—facilitates investigation process and presents findings to Death Review committee. Performs other duties as assigned to promote service enhancement and continuous quality improvement of perspective clinics. Education, Training, & Experience (including licensure & certification) Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the Texas Board of Nursing and accredited by either ACEN or CCNE required. Current, full, active, and unrestricted Texas nursing license as Registered Nurse required. Minimum 5 years of professional nursing experience required. Minimum 2 years' supervisory experience working as a nurse leader required. Minimum 1 year working with individuals with serious mental illness and/or substance use disorders required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Experience with Prescription Assistance Program highly preferred. Experience working in a community mental health clinic or CCBHC highly preferred. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Possess in-depth knowledge and understanding of the psychopathology and psychotropic medications. Ability to inspire a work environment that provides compassionate care to individuals with serious mental illness. Demonstrated ability to foster collaborative relationships with various levels of professions and programs. Self-starter who works closely with all team members and takes initiative in completing tasks. Demonstrated ability to ensure effective communication regarding operations, performance, and problems. Knowledge of the social services system and the ability to guide staff in connecting individuals with appropriate services. Organized, detail oriented, computer proficient, and able to write clearly and professionally. Excellent communication and listening skills. Ability to delegate tasks appropriately among team for operational excellence.
