Job Description

Job Summary The House Supervisor supervises and coordinates activities of all nursing personnel engaged in specific nursing and patient care services for an 8 or 12 hour period of time. Responsible for the continuation of smooth functioning of the hospital during the absence of the administration team. Scope of work encompasses direct and indirect patient care. Assists other areas of hospital administration by fully participating in meetings and special committees, as well as following and enforcing hospital policies and procedures.
Qualifications Minimum Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. RN degree mandatory and BSN preferred, or hours toward degree.
Minimum Experience:
Minimum of two years nursing experience. Supervisory experience strongly preferred..
Required Certification:
BLS, ACLS, PALS
Required Licensure:
Must have a current RN Texas License.
