The Role We are looking for a true operational and medical leader who is also a profoundly warm, collaborative team player. You are an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (FNP or WHNP) who is ready to run a clinical floor, lead a dedicated team, and provide exceptional clinical oversight. You will share leadership of the center alongside our Director of Administration. While they manage the business and financial health of the facility, you are the public face of our clinical operations. You are the ultimate clinical anchor, overseeing our medical protocols, managing the daily logistics of the clinic floor, ensuring we meet rigorous safety standards, and acting as a clinical mentor and leader for our nursing and clinical support staff, including RNs, CPMs, CNMs, and MAs. Please note that while you will regularly see patients in the clinic for exams and consultations, this role does not require you to attend births. What You Will Do Be the Face of the
Clinic:
You are our lead clinical ambassador. You will actively participate in community outreach events, spearhead our mobile clinic initiatives, and speak passionately about accessible healthcare so families in the Rio Grande Valley know exactly why our center is a safe, empowering choice.

You are a natural relationship builder. You will actively cultivate profound trust and open communication with local collaborating physicians, EMS teams, and hospital charge nurses so our care coordination and transfer protocols run flawlessly. Lead with

We need a genuinely great person to lead this team. You will foster a culture of deep mutual respect on the clinic floor. You will directly manage, schedule, and mentor our RNs, CPMs, CNMs, and MAs, always leading by lifting people up and ensuring every single staff member feels valued.
Oversee Students and Preceptors:
As a teaching facility, you will manage our student nurse practitioner and nursing student rotations, ensuring they receive exceptional mentorship without compromising patient safety or floor efficiency.
Drive Accreditation and Quality:
Act as our internal compliance officer. You will lead our Continuous Quality Improvement program by tracking clinical outcomes, updating our medical policy manual annually, performing clinical audits, and leading monthly emergency drills for the entire clinical team.
Provide Direct Patient Care:
Provide unhurried, exceptional well woman exams, family planning services, contraception counseling, and basic gynecological care. You will also oversee teen reproductive and sexual health education and health screenings. You will not attend births, but your clinical presence is vital to our daily operations.
Manage Medical Logistics:
Take ownership of the clinical supply chain. You will legally sign for and oversee the secure storage logs for all pharmaceuticals and medical supplies on the property.
What We Are Looking For The Basics:
Active Texas RN and APRN licenses as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) in good standing, with full prescriptive authority and a current DEA registration. Active BLS and NRP certifications are required.
The Experience:
At least 3 to 5 years of clinical experience in women's health or family practice, plus a minimum of 2 years in a management, charge nurse, or clinical operations role. Experience working within public health, nonprofit clinics, or birth center environments is highly valued.

Language:
Being bilingual (English/Spanish) is a massive plus for serving our diverse patient base and communicating effectively with local hospital staff and community members.
Physical Requirements:
You must be able to perform the essential duties of this position with or without reasonable accommodations. This includes the ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, remain clinically active for extended periods, and respond quickly alongside the team during urgent situations.
The Perks & Pay Salary:
$95,000 to $115,000 base pay, offering profound purchasing power in the highly affordable Rio Grande Valley.
