Position Overview:
The Registered Nurse Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our behavior health department. This includes managing a team of nurses, developing and implementing policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health and a proven track record of leadership and management.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise a team of nurses, providing guidance, support, and mentorship Develop and implement policies and procedures for the behavior health department Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and guidelines Oversee patient care, including assessments, treatment plans, and medication management Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans Provide education and training to staff on best practices and new developments in behavioral health Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of care provided Handle any issues or concerns that arise within the behavior health department Foster a positive and supportive work environment for all staff members
Qualifications:
