Role, reporting structure, and team support: The Nurse Manager of Ambulatory Infusion Cancer Center will report to a seasoned Director of Oncology Services while partnering closely with medical oncologists, pharmacists, advanced practice providers, navigators, social workers, and a friendly, highly collaborative team of infusion RNs. The Nurse Manager of Ambulatory Infusion Cancer Center will oversee daily operations, staffing and scheduling, budgets, throughput, quality metrics, and regulatory readiness (ONS standards, USP <797>/<800>, Joint Commission), while advancing evidence-based protocols, central line safety, chemotherapy competencies, and patient-centered workflows. The Nurse Manager of Ambulatory Infusion Cancer Center will mentor a diverse nursing team, champion professional development and certification, drive process improvement and service recovery, and cultivate a supportive, inclusive culture where every discipline thrives together.
