Job Description

Work Schedule:
This is a 100% FTE, full-time salaried position with typical hours between 7:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday. No holidays. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department as some off hours and weekends may be required. In a week's time, you will work at University Hospital, 1 S Park St, and Eastpark Medical Center in Madison, WI. Are you looking to grow within your nursing career and take your leadership abilities to the next level? Wisconsin's top-ranked hospital is seeking an experienced and motivated RN clinic supervisor to lead a dedicated team of nurses within the fast-paced adult urology specialty in the outpatient setting.
You will:
  • Assist the RN clinic manager in leading the day-to-day operation and coordination of patient care services in the adult ambulatory setting.
  • Supervise and manage a team of 30 direct reports which includes RNs and LPNs at three different urology clinic locations.
  • Promote staff continuing education and evidence-based practice while maintaining clinical standards of care.
  • Facilitate communication, coordination and collaboration among disciplines while establishing and focusing on quality improvement efforts. At UW Health, you will have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Required Work Experience
  • 2 years of RN experience Required
  • 1 year of progressive relevant leadership experience Preferred Licenses & Certifications
  • RN licensed in the state where employed Required
