NUTRITIONAL SERVICES TECHNICIAN - PRN

This position will be working in the nutritional (Dietary) services department.

DUTIES :

Completes prep work, sets-up meals on units, fills dietary requirements for floor supplies. Participates in serving proper portions to the patients on serving lines. Completes cleaning assignments, dishwashing and pots/pans washing on a timely basis. Cleans and services facility areas to ensure the safety, health, and morale of patients, visitors, and employees. For the resident/patient's recovery, they help provide a clean, attractive, safe environment with minimal interference to others.

QUALIFICATIONS

: Graduate of high school diploma or equivalent Ability to follow written and oral instructions. Have knowledge of standard nutritional and environmental practices, techniques, equipment and supplies Knowledge of health, safety and sanitary requirements of food preparation and serving. Sufficient strength to perform assigned tasks. Some experience in nutritional work is desired but not required.
