Child Care Services Nutrition Tech South Plains Community Action Association - 2.9 Lubbock, TX Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Customer communication High school diploma or GED Driver's License Full Job Description South Plains Community Action Association (SPCAA) is seeking a detail-oriented Nutrition Technician to support the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). This position plays a key role in ensuring accurate reimbursement, supporting child care providers, and maintaining compliance with USDA and Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) guidelines. What You'll Do Review and validate CACFP meal counts and billing for accuracy and compliance Prepare and submit reimbursement claims Maintain organized records to support audits and program requirements Provide technical assistance to child care providers on CACFP rules and processes Assist with monitoring activities, trainings, and provider support Identify discrepancies and report concerns to ensure program integrity What We're Looking For High School Diploma or GED required Experience with billing, data entry, or compliance review preferred Strong attention to detail and organization skills Ability to learn and apply federal/state regulations (CACFP) Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Strong communication and customer service skills Additional Requirements Must pass background and drug screening Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to travel occasionally within the region Why Join SPCAA?
