Qualifications & Experience:

Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Active OT licensure in Alaska (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience working with pediatric populations or within school systems preferred Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborative mindset with a team-oriented approach Adaptable, organized, and passionate about supporting students of varying abilities

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough evaluations of students functional abilities and needs within the educational environment Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and goals Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students, supporting their participation in daily school activities Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into classroom routines Maintain detailed records and compliant documentation in accordance with school and legal policies Participate in IEP meetings, progress reviews, and staff development activities Promote student independence, social participation, and academic success through targeted interventions
