Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Embark on a rewarding assignment as a contract Occupational Therapist in a vibrant Alaska community near Soldotna! Two talented OTs are sought to provide essential therapy services to students from Pre-K through 12th grade. This is a school-based role where you'll play a pivotal part in supporting a diverse caseload—up to 40 students—within welcoming educational settings. The contract spans from mid-August 2026 through May 2027, offering consistency and the unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the beautiful surroundings of southern Alaska.
Qualifications and Experience:
Active Alaska OT license (or eligibility to obtain) Alaska Educator Certification (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience in school-based settings preferred, but strong new grads encouraged Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individual and group occupational therapy services in accordance with students' IEPs Document progress, collaborate with teachers, families, and school teams Participate in IEP meetings and offer expert recommendations for student success Develop adaptive strategies for classroom participation Travel across school sites as needed within the area
Role Details:
