Qualifications & Experience:

Valid Occupational Therapy (OT) license for the state of Alaska TYPE C Certification required Previous school-based OT experience strongly preferred Strong communication and collaboration abilities Experience with student caseload management and documentation Preference given to candidates with Alaska certification Ability to work onsite and provide services in person only

Core Responsibilities:

Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services to students, supporting their educational participation and independence Manage approximately 1000 minutes of direct student contact each week Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Conduct assessments, develop treatment goals, and track student progress with accuracy Empower students by adapting activities and environments to promote skills development Engage in ongoing professional development and stay updated with best practices in school-based
