Job Description
Key Qualifications:
Current Occupational Therapist (OT) license, with eligibility for Alaska licensure TYPE C Certification required AK-certified candidates strongly preferred Prior school-based OT experience highly valued Ability to manage an active caseload while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team Passion for helping students achieve their goals and develop functional skillsPrimary Responsibilities:
Provide direct, onsite OT services to students, totaling approximately 1,000 minutes of student contact weekly Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans tailored to each students needs Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student outcomes Maintain detailed session notes, progress reports, and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals Deliver services exclusively in-person; virtual/remote work is not available for this role Benefits forYou:
