In this position, you will be responsible for a range of essential services to support student success:
Key Responsibilities:
Manage occupational therapy caseloads, ensuring effective case management for students with varying needs. Deliver both direct and indirect therapy services, fostering students' growth and participation in educational activities. Track and document student progress consistently, collaborating with educators and families to develop and implement individualized plans. Stay current with best practices in pediatric occupational therapy and contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture.
Desired Qualifications:
Hold a valid Alabama Occupational Therapist license. Experience or familiarity with providing therapy services in a school-based setting. Strong skills in communication, organization, and collaboration. Ability to adapt and respond effectively to diverse student needs. Passion for contributing to students' development and educational goals.
Position Details:
Part-time schedule: 20 hours per week Contract commitment for the duration of the academic school year (2026-2027)
