Job Description

Job Title:
Full-Time Registered Occupational Therapist (OTR)
Job Summary:
The Full-Time Registered Occupational Therapist (OTR) is responsible for providing high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy services to pediatric clients in a clinic setting. This role includes the evaluation, treatment planning, and ongoing reassessment of patients to support functional independence and participation in daily activities. The OTR will demonstrate strong clinical reasoning, effective communication with caregivers, and collaboration with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The OTR is also responsible for completing all required clinical documentation in a timely and compliant manner, including initial evaluations, re-evaluations, and progress note summaries for insurance re-certification. Additionally, the OTR will provide supervision and clinical oversight to up to two Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), ensuring adherence to best practices, regulatory requirements, and clinic standards of care.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive initial evaluations to assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care Complete re-assessments and progress note summaries to support insurance re-certification and demonstrate medical necessity Develop and implement goal-directed, evidence-based treatment plans Monitor patient progress and modify interventions as needed to maximize outcomes Provide caregiver education and training to support carryover of skills into home and community environments Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in accordance with clinic, state, and payer guidelines Supervise and provide clinical guidance to up to two COTAs , including regular communication, documentation review, and co-signatures as required Ensure all services are delivered in accordance with ethical, legal, and professional standards Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support coordinated care
Performance Expectations:
Timely completion of evaluations, re-evaluations, and progress reports Demonstration of strong clinical reasoning and skilled intervention techniques Ability to manage a full caseload efficiently while maintaining quality of care Effective communication with families and team members Consistent and compliant COTA supervision Maintenance of productivity standards as defined by the clinic Commitment to ongoing professional development and best practices in pediatric
OT Pay:
$39.50 - $51.60 per hour
