Category Therapy - Skilled - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as an Occupational Therapist, providing skilled therapy services to students in a collaborative and supportive educational setting. You'll play a pivotal role in empowering students to participate fully in school activities, fostering their growth and independence. This position offers hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, giving you balance between your professional responsibilities and personal time.
Key Qualifications:
Current, valid licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist Experience in Occupational Health or skilled therapy within school or pediatric environments Strong communication skills and ability to connect with children, educators, and families Ability to assess, develop, and implement therapy plans tailored to individual student needs Collaborative spirit to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for students referred for services Develop and implement personalized intervention strategies to help students achieve academic and developmental goals Collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate therapeutic techniques within classroom activities Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and required reports Offer training and resources to staff and families as needed to support student progress Adhere to ethical guidelines and remain current with evidence-based practices in the field
