Make a meaningful impact supporting students across multiple schools as a contract Occupational Therapist! This role offers the opportunity to engage with diverse caseloads and collaborate with educational teams, all within a structured school-day schedule. With immediate openings through the end of the school year, youll serve approximately 50-60 students at each of four locations. Responsibilities include implementing individualized and small-group therapy sessions, delivering direct and consultative occupational therapy services, and adapting flexible, push-in models based on student needs and IEP goals. Sessions are typically scheduled for 30 minutes and vary in frequency (weekly, twice a month, or monthly) as outlined in student plans.

Key Qualifications:

Active and current Occupational Therapy license and certification specific to Alabama Previous pediatric or school-based OT experience strongly preferred Ability to manage a varied caseload with exceptional organization skills Adept at collaborating within multidisciplinary teams Committed to providing services on-site, as teletherapy (Voco) is not permitted for this opportunity Proof of licensure/certification required

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments and contribute to IEP development Deliver services to students individually or in small groups, both within classrooms and designated therapy spaces Document interventions, progress, and session notes within the required timelines Communicate effectively with staff, administration, and families The schedule runs Monday through Friday, 7:45 am to 3:45 pm, and the contract continues through June 10.
