Job Description

We are seeking a full time Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team, at our Greenbrier campus! Our therapists enjoy a fun, professional, and easygoing environment with flexible schedule and interdisciplinary format as an added benefit. We are passionate about helping clients to achieve their full potential, while providing their families with advocacy skills and home exercises to carry over in all environments. Farris Therapy will provide an EMR login for therapists for electronic documentation and scheduling collaboration, but it is the responsibility of the therapist to have a computer/laptop/tablet for documentation purposes. We cover the first year of malpractice insurance for therapists if one is not already in place, and provide office assistance for upkeep of credentialing and paperwork organization. $200 CEU allowance is provided yearly, and weekly documentation stipend is allotted for assistance with note taking. Therapeutic equipment is provided in the clinic setting, and therapists are provided with personal work space and treatment room for additional contribution of their preferred items as wanted/needed for sessions. Farris Therapy enjoys engaging in fun and interactive clinic and community activities, including our holiday 'Spirit Weeks' and summer 'Water Week' for an interactive and engaging experience for all. This is a contract-based position, in which therapist would be allotted a 1099 for tax purposes at the end of the year.
Responsibilities:
Work directly with patients and their families to achieve their highest level of potential Evaluate effects of therapy treatment and communicate patients' progress to their parents/caregivers Record and document patient care services Collaborate with other team personnel to achieve well-rounded care
Qualifications:
Previous experience in pediatric occupational therapy preferred, but not required Ability to handle physical workload Ability to build rapport with patients Excellent written and verbal communication skills Great collaboration skills with other therapy professionals in the clinic setting Good time management skills; can effectively use EMR scheduling Current AR state certification Current Occupational Therapist licensure

$60.00 - $70.00 per hour
