Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic opportunity as an Occupational Therapist supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade in a school-based setting near Avondale, AZ. This full-time contract position runs from August 6, 2026, through May 27, 2027, offering a consistent 40-hour workweek with guaranteed hours. Desired Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license, with credentials suitable for school settings Previous experience working with K-12 students, preferably in a school environment Ability to assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy plans Strong collaboration and communication skills with educators, administrators, and families Professional approach to documentation and compliance with school and legal standards
Key Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy assessments, interventions, and consultations for students across grade levels Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Deliver direct and indirect services as outlined in student plans Maintain thorough, compliant records and contribute to student goal-setting Communicate effectively with staff and families to monitor progress Travel therapists are eligible for stipends.
