An Occupational Therapist helps patients with injuries, illnesses, and disabilities recover, improve, or develop skills needed for everyday activities. Assists people with mobility impairments to move easily around their homes; develops school and workplace settings that are accessible for individuals with physical or mental disabilities. May specialize in certain types of impairments or certain categories of patients.
$53 to $58 per hour based on experience Weekly pay range: $2,120•2,320 gross per week.

Competent care rendered to patients. Use exercises, stretching, equipment, modalities, and hands-on therapy to manage patients' pain, increase mobility, and prevent further pain and injury. Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with patients and motivate them to reach their goals. Provide continuity of care by communicating pertinent patient information with the rehab team, physicians, and other disciplines as needed. Document all patient care in accordance with department policies. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; and adhering to infection-control policies and protocols. Occupational Therapist (OT)
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited college or university Must possess or be eligible for an Occupational Therapist License in the State of Arizona. Current NBCOT certification Valid Arizona Department of Public Safety Fingerprint Clearance Card At least one year of relevant work experience in a school and/or pediatric setting(s) preferred.
