Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a dynamic school-based environment as a full-time occupational therapist serving students for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. You'll collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to assess needs, deliver therapeutic interventions, and support student success across varied age groups.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
Valid Occupational Therapist license for the state of Arizona (or eligibility). Background in school settings or pediatric populations preferred. Strong knowledge of occupational health, assessment, and therapy planning. Ability to manage a diverse caseload with varying student needs. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Comfortable adapting therapy techniques and schedules as students' needs evolve.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students' needs. Develop individualized treatment plans to address fine motor, sensory, self-care, and adaptive skills. Deliver therapy services in individual, group, and inclusive classroom settings. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals. Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to generalize therapeutic strategies throughout the school day.
