The OT will work to provide therapeutic services to patients in our post acute care facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, and be committed to delivering high-quality patient care. Responsibilities Assist in the implementation of individualized care plans. Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises and activities designed to improve patients' functional abilities. Monitor patient progress and report changes or concerns. Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, exercises, and strategies for improving daily living skills. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and progress in accordance with facility policies. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients during therapy sessions. Skills Proficient in medical terminology related to occupational therapy practices. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to patient care. Experience in developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual patient needs. Familiarity with outpatient clinic settings as well as acute care environments. Excellent patient care skills with a focus on empathy and support. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and team members. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining professionalism at all times.
