Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a real difference in the lives of students as a full-time Occupational Therapist serving K-12th grade for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract opportunity is perfect for dedicated OT professionals who thrive in school-based settings and are passionate about empowering young learners to reach their full potential. Enjoy a structured Monday-Friday schedule with 40 hours per week. The contract will run from August 6, 2026, through May 27, 2027, providing stability throughout the academic year. Focus entirely on your students, as there are no non-therapy district duties expected—meaning you can devote yourself to clinical excellence without added bus or pickup assignments.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapist license (AZ or eligible for reciprocity) Previous experience delivering OT services in educational settings preferred Proficiency with IEPs, documentation, and evidence-based interventions for school-aged children Exceptional communication and collaboration skills Ability to work effectively with students, families, and interdisciplinary school teams
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and assessments for students K-12 Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs Deliver direct and indirect OT services in accordance with IEP goals Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
