9689642-85653 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract role where your expertise as an Occupational Therapist supports elementary-aged students across multiple sites near Marana, AZ. This full-time opportunity offers a dynamic work week of 3540 hours, starting as soon as possible. As part of a dedicated team, youll be serving a caseload of approximately 60 students, collaborating directly with a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to deliver high-quality therapy within the school setting.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

Valid Arizona Occupational Therapist license (or ability to obtain) Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric OT setting preferred Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset Ability to craft and implement IEPs for elementary-aged students Willingness to travel between multiple sites in the district

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments of elementary-aged students referred for occupational therapy Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, collaborating closely with educators, families, and COTA Support students functional independence and academic participation through direct intervention and consultation Maintain timely and thorough documentation in compliance with school and regulatory standards Engage in the IEP process, contributing to goal-setting and progress monitoring for each student on your caseload Provide guidance and training to support staff as needed, promoting best practices in school-based OT This contract position invites you to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young learners in an energetic and inclusive environment.
