Occupational Therapist (OT)
Responsibilities:
Provide direct occupational therapy care based on physician referrals, develop and adjust treatment plans, supervise OTAs and support staff, document patient progress, and ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Engage with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to meet patient goals and improve outcomes. Maintain professional relationships, adhere to confidentiality policies, and participate in community health initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
NBCOT certification (renewal optional) Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program (BSOT or MSOT) Active state licensure and CPR certification
Preferred:
1+ year experience; new grads welcome Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email Strong communication, decision-making, and body mechanics skills Knowledge of laws, regulations, and safety procedures in post-acute care
Key Duties:
Follow treatment plans, establish measurable goals, oversee care delivery, document accurately, utilize therapy software, and demonstrate excellent customer service. Ensure patient safety, attend to interdisciplinary communication, and uphold professional standards and company policies.
